Configuring Progressive Web App (PWA)

Configuration

To enable Progressive Web App (PWA) enable it in the ADMIN/Web app configuration menu item.

Use the top link Configure notifications to set up App notifications.

Recommendations

It is recommended to use the PWA over the legacy Softadmin®-app, unless the system uses Windows Single Sign On. For all other types of login, including other types of Single Sign On the PWA is recommended. On systems using Windows Single Sign On, iOS (as of 2026) will prompt the user for username and password every time the app is opened and has no means of keeping the user logged in which gives a bad user experience. The recommendation is to use another login method if the PWA should be enabled.
