This page describes the server requirements for hosting different versions of Softadmin®.
A Softadmin® system consists of a web site hosted by Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Services) and a SQL Database hosted by Microsoft SQL Server. The web site and database do not need to be located on the same Windows server and so their requirements are listed separately.

Database Server
Softadmin® Server edition requires a machine running SQL Server on Windows Server.
SQL Server
Softadmin® works with all editions of SQL Server except Express Edition. It is assumed that you have the latest Cumulative Update or Service Pack installed.
